Yandex Lavka — Homepage Redesign
A homepage redesign that brought personalized recommendations into focus, solved visibility issues, and created a scalable promo system for business growth

Yandex 360 is a suite of business tools, including email, calendar, and collaboration services. I joined the Telemost team, bringing video calls and team messaging together in one product — combining capabilities familiar from Slack and Zoom.
Staff Designer
I joined when the new chat designs were already in place and the mobile integration had launched. Within three days, I reconstructed the project’s history, gathered key artifacts, and established the context needed to move forward.
I owned the design strategy for the integration, defining how calls and messaging would work together as one service. I coordinated designers, engineers, and QA, established collaboration processes, and aligned teams around shared decisions.
The main challenge was the number of interconnected flows and states. I mapped these dependencies, worked through edge cases, and connected individual interactions into a consistent experience. This helped the team manage complexity and keep the launch on track.

We designed two interaction models for web and desktop:
Alongside the integration, I refreshed the visual language and migrated web and desktop components to the Yandex 360 design system, establishing a shared foundation for future development.
I used Codex extensively throughout the project to build interactive prototypes, find and synthesize information, and support design research. It helped me explore alternatives, work through edge cases, and turn ideas into tangible experiences the team could discuss and test.
By shortening the path from an idea to a working prototype, I could focus more on product strategy, interaction quality, and cross-team alignment. I guided the process, critically reviewed AI outputs, and remained responsible for the final design decisions.

I also designed the launch campaign to introduce the changes and prepare users for the transition from the standalone messenger to Telemost.
We launched the unified product on time, despite the extensive set of flows, states, and cross-team dependencies.
Early user feedback was particularly positive about the web experience and its seamless switching between calls and messages. That response helped inform the direction for the desktop experience.
My work helped the team deliver the launch and established a foundation for what comes next: one product, a shared component system, and new ways to connect calls and messaging.
